I am Laura Rankin the creative face behind Creatures of Habit Cakery. I am a Wedding and Celebration cake maker based on the beautiful Isle of Skye in Scotland, covering not only Skye but the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and as far as your heart desires my cakes.
I am a mum of two little boys and I solely run my business around raising them. When you choose Creatures of Habit Cakery, you'll be working directly with me every step of the way. From designing and baking your cake to personally delivering and setting it up at your venue, I handle every aspect of our cake journey together. I'm the one responding to your emails, taking your calls, managing all marketing, and engaging on social media. You can say that I am a wonder woman.
My core belief is to "treat others how you would like to be treated." My mum raised me by this, and it shapes every interaction I have with my couples. I believe in inclusivity and celebrate love in all its forms - because love is free from boundaries of race, gender, or orientation. Providing exceptional customer service is at the core of my business, and I am dedicated to making your wedding cake experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
