I am Laura Rankin the face behind Creatures of Habit Cakery. I am a Wedding and Celebration cake maker based on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, covering not only Skye but the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and as far as you would love to enjoy my cake. I run my business completely single handed; from designing and making wedding and celebration cakes, to delivering, setting up at venues, answering emails, phone calls and all marketing, so when you book your cake with Creatures of Habit Cakery, it will only be me that you deal with from start to finish.
I respect everyone and my approach is ‘treat others how you would like to be treated.’ My mum raised me by this, and I passionately believe in it. I am inclusive to all couples; love is love and it has no labels, race, gender, colour, or limits. I pride myself in providing excellent customer service to all my clients and I strive to create a smooth and seamless wedding cake journey experience for you.
I love nothing more than listening to your ideas, sketching them onto paper and creating your dream cake for your special day.
